Ryanairs,Bondeman and O'Leary penny pinching knows no limits: HOW DO UK AND IRISH LABOUR COURT LET THIS HAPPEN.

Ryanairs, penny pinching knows no limits:
Present cabin crew,
I’m crew at Ryanair, but I work for them through Workforce / Crewlink .
Recently crew have began asking question about payment for Bank Holidays worked.
We all checked our payslips dismayed to discover that we hadn’t been paid a Bank Holiday pay, which is £60, for Saint Patrick’s Day. Confused we were all told that since we are UK based and St. Patrick’s Day is an IRISH Bank Holiday we are not entitled to be paid for it, had we have been based in Ireland we would have been paid for it.

Then we asked since we are UK based we took it that we were getting paid for the national Bank Holiday of the Royal Wedding. We were then informed that since Ryanair is an Irish company they only “recognise Irish Bank Holidays”.

So according to the answer they gave us for the Saint Patricks day lack of payment, it would suggest that we would get paid for national bank holidays in England.
But we all know Ryanair will do anything to get out of paying crew a penny extra.
So it turns out that over 600+ based UK Cabin Crew will NOT be paid for the Royal Wedding, not paid for Saint Patrick’s day, so out of TWO national holidays we have not received a penny of Bank Holiday pay.

So we did the math, Ryanair saved themselves over £70,000 by hiding behind the companies nationality so as not to pay us for two bank holidays that we are legally entitled to be paid for! Plus that figure doesn’t even take into account the pilots in the UK either so I’m sure the figure is well above £100,000 saved.

So once again Ryanair shaft their contract workers and own staff to save a few pounds to spend on childish gimmicks!

They really couldn’t care less about their staff, and will do anything possible to save themselves money……

A little Justice on  Saint Patrick’s Day,the RYANAIR CHASE...Thank you ryanairdontcare campaign were would we be without you guys.....
