captain FREDERIC COLSON CONTACT US

Email sent to me yesterday,

Dear John,

I've quoted my picture onto your website (I'm the "lucky" captain from CIA accident in 2008).

May I ask you to remove my picture which has been published without authorization. I suppose you are fighting against RYR management and I'm only flying as "simple" captain.. :-)

So, I'm not involved in this fight and I want to avoid any misunderstanding....

Thanks for help.

Sincerely yours.
Frédéric

My reply to Frederic sent today,

Dear Frederic,

Thank you for your email. Can you please inform me which photo you wish me to delete and it will be done.

Kindest regards
John Foley
Ryanairdontcare Campaign.

John Said,
Both Capt Frederic Colson and first officer Alexander Vet are a credit to AVIATION...
Just a shame Ryanair only give credit to pilots when it suits them....
Pilots get credit 24/7 from Ryanairdontcare Campaign to which Ryanair will never match, unless a fee is paid!!!!....

www.irishaviationauthority.com SIT BACK,REPLAX AND ENJOY...

Ryanairs,Bondeman and O'Leary penny pinching knows no limits: HOW DO UK AND IRISH LABOUR COURT LET THIS HAPPEN.

Ryanairs, penny pinching knows no limits:
Present cabin crew,
I’m crew at Ryanair, but I work for them through Workforce / Crewlink .
Recently crew have began asking question about payment for Bank Holidays worked.
We all checked our payslips dismayed to discover that we hadn’t been paid a Bank Holiday pay, which is £60, for Saint Patrick’s Day. Confused we were all told that since we are UK based and St. Patrick’s Day is an IRISH Bank Holiday we are not entitled to be paid for it, had we have been based in Ireland we would have been paid for it.

Then we asked since we are UK based we took it that we were getting paid for the national Bank Holiday of the Royal Wedding. We were then informed that since Ryanair is an Irish company they only “recognise Irish Bank Holidays”.

So according to the answer they gave us for the Saint Patricks day lack of payment, it would suggest that we would get paid for national bank holidays in England.
But we all know Ryanair will do anything to get out of paying crew a penny extra.
So it turns out that over 600+ based UK Cabin Crew will NOT be paid for the Royal Wedding, not paid for Saint Patrick’s day, so out of TWO national holidays we have not received a penny of Bank Holiday pay.

So we did the math, Ryanair saved themselves over £70,000 by hiding behind the companies nationality so as not to pay us for two bank holidays that we are legally entitled to be paid for! Plus that figure doesn’t even take into account the pilots in the UK either so I’m sure the figure is well above £100,000 saved.

So once again Ryanair shaft their contract workers and own staff to save a few pounds to spend on childish gimmicks!

They really couldn’t care less about their staff, and will do anything possible to save themselves money……

A little Justice on  Saint Patrick’s Day,the RYANAIR CHASE...Thank you ryanairdontcare campaign were would we be without you guys.....

LETTER SENT TO IAA and CAA...........ACT NOW....

Dear,Ms Anne Nolan - Pat Carey

Civil Aviation Authority/Irish Aviation Authority,

My name is John Foley who has set up a ryanairdontcare campaign that deals with issues in relation to cabin crew at ryanair.

I am writing to you today with regards safety issues on board each and every flight at Ryanair,to which passengers and crew are put in danger as a direct result of Ryanair putting PROFIT before safety.

Many issues have been brought to our attention by present cabin crew at ryanair, who have raised these issues time and time again with ryanair management, who do nothing to make the work place a safer place. These are words used by present crew at ryanair, ( sooner or later we will have someone badly injured by working under these conditions,or worse killed as a result of ryanairs unsafe work practices that they force on crew). This comment from present ryanair cabin crew,is quite chilling and you must act and act 'NOW'.

.With reference to Rubbish of board each ryanair flight, these large un fire safe black bin bags) are not fire proof and in the event of a fire could endanger life of passengers and crew.4 bins on board each aircraft are sealed as ryanair tell crew, security checks (of these bins) take to long, for turn arounds.

As you will know Boeing regulations state,ALL CARTS or NO CARTS must be installed for taxi,take-off,turbulence and landing. With Ryanair taking one cart away (other cart could become loose) ,safety of crew and passengers are at a high level of risk,(Which could involve a death on board a ryanair flight),Also the wheelchair behind the empty cart is free to come loose, yet again danger to crew and passengers on board each flight.

As you can see from the ryanair memo dated 17th February 2011 regarding carts, these have been put in place by ryanair management NOW.Both the IAA and CAA talk about driving continous improvements in aviation in (includes safety and security) UK and Europe which i have now doubt is your aim,but the lack of respect from ryanair with regards these improvement ''will show'' ryanair's doing their own things that suit their shareholders over safety and security and lack of respect not only to passengers but Pilots and Cabin Crew at Ryanair..

This letter will be posted on our ryanairdontcare blog,IAA website and also sent to BALPA and IALPA to confirm the CAA and IAA were informed. We at ryanairdontcare campaign wait your reply.

Enclosed in this letter is photo proof of these issues.

Yours sincerely

John Foley

TRAINING OF NO 1s AT RYANAIR IS A SAFETY ISSUE IAA

The training of cabin crew no 1s at Ryanair is a sham.It is not the no 1s fault but RYANAIR'S.

When you have been with Ryanair for1 year you are eligible for promotion, subject to further 'training'(I use the term loosly)
How future No1's are selected is very complex, and grueling...Your base supervisor looks at list of crew in the base, finds out who has hung around the longest or who hasnt been Terminated and bobs your uncle you have a few trainees!

No interviews,no assesments to see if they are suitable, nothing! Most crew who end up getting selected dont want it,because they know the strain that current No1's are under.Ryanair dont care if the person is intelligent, shy, good at there job, assertive, basically anything that other airlines would require future leaders to have, Ryanair couldnt care less...

So the trainees are given a training date and the print of a 'pre-coures' study pack which contains  how to do bar paper work etc.
When the day comes, literally a day, well a few hours of training is given. The new leaders are given a few hours on how to do bar paperwork, brief a crew and offload crew and thats it,a little exam and your done!

After that you have to do a few training flights, basically you carry out the duties of a No1 under the supervision of another No1(who may only have been promoted). When you have completed 3 practice flights, you then get rostered 'offical' line checks,3 of them.
On your offical line checks your supervised by another No1 who hung around long enough and/or who wasn't Terminated, they watch how you work, give you some 'tips' and sign you off.You do 3 of them and your done, your now a qualified CSS incharge of 3 other crew,189 passengers and the future training of PRCC as they came along.

Ryanair No1's are given no extra training whatsoever on leadership, crew managment, crisis management etc. They are shown how to add figures on bar paper work and thats it!Some No1's have a lack of  knowledge of the English language, to lead a crew in any situation.(as you can view ryanair memo,English language on our new website, which should be live in 48 hours.(www.irishaviationauthority.com).

Ryanairs lack of training for supervisors has been highlighted again and again in many very quiet accidents:

1.A Ryanair aircraft suffered a 'tail-strike'(When the back of the aircraft scratches the runway) on a flight from Manchester, the flight deck under that circumstance followed there instructions, which includes decompressing the aircraft so as not to cause any more damage. The No1 noticed that the aircraft decompressed and ran to the flight deck door and began shouting and banging on the door trying to get the attention of the pilots!

2.When a Ryanair aircraft ran off the runway at Limoges airport in France, the crew onboard were completly inexperienced. On the day in question,as I mentioned above,a junior crew member was under training to be a No1 and was sat in the No1's jumpseat at the front, while the actual No1 was sitting opposite. The Captain ordered an evacuation, but the trainee couldnt open the front door,so passengers had to help. The 2 other crew at the back who were inexperienced were confused and didnt even know that an evacuation was happening!
When the pilots left the flight deck after over 3minutes,there was still some passengers wondering around the aircraft trying to find there bags!

Two prime examples of Ryanairs 'training' standards for supervisors. It wasnt the supervisors fault that they couldnt handle the situation, they simple were not given enough training. The were not trained on how to deal with these kind of situations,no leadership training at all,and in general most of these supervisors are not trained for the job as no 1.

Ryanair allows brand new crew with less than 2 hours flying experience to fly together. On numerous occasions a whole crew (cabin crew) can be made up of brand new crew, and the No1 flying as a supervisor, for the first time incharge....
Experience is everything in aviation, and Ryanair do not care. They look at crew as a legal requirement and thats it,they couldnt care less about the passengers safety or the safety of their experienced or inexperienced crew!

In my opinion Ryanair might have some great supervisors. They were not made great by Ryanairs training, but they were naturally gifted. Accidents waiting to happen due to the lack of training of no 1s at Ryanair.Take Easyjet's No 1s training, leadership, crew managment, crisis management are all important to this airline...
